The White Onion serves contemporary, creative French cuisine in the heart of Wimbledon village. Head chef Fréderic Duval, was born and raised in Normandy and originally studied philosophy but fell in love with cooking at the age of 24 when he started working at the critically-acclaimed restaurant The French Table in Surbiton, Surrey. He was trained and coached by their Chef Patron Eric Guignard.
The constantly evolving, seasonal modern French à la carte menu features an exciting selection of dishes, including wild boar, pistachio and green peppercorn coarse pâté served with tropical chutney and chocolate moelleux with caramelised pop corn and pop corn ice cream.
