If you're thirsty for greater knowledge, the DFDS Seaways Wine Theatres running throughout each day of The France Show 2012 offers you the opportunity to participate in seminars given by some of the world's leading experts. With a range of sessions suitable for beginners through to the more experienced, each provides an overview of a selection of wines and the chance to taste under expert tuition.
WINE THEATRE 1
Bordeaux Wines would like to invite you to one of its wine seminars hosted by its very own Bordeaux-accredited tutor, Michelle Cherutti-Kowal. Michelle will take you through the region of Bordeaux, its terroir, its grape varieties, and give you the basic understanding and apprecitation of this world-famous region, whose wines have been drunk for centuries.
WINE THEATRE 2
The Wine Society, named the UK’s Wine Merchant of the Year 2011 by both Decanter Magazine and the International Wine Challenge and voted the nation’s best wine club by readers of Which? will be hosting the wine seminars in Wine Theatre 2. Come and taste the wines of Alsace and Provence; seminars will be presented by Susy Atkins, award-winning wine writer and broadcaster.
Wine seminar tickets cost £5 per person and can be purchased when booking your entry tickets.
